Join the Capital Group Rotational Program and gain experience by working on different teams within one of three tracks:
- Business & Operations: Learn how teams across business operations, corporate functions and strategy work together to strengthen the firm, support associates and help Capital Group deliver for clients.
- Client & Product: Explore how teams develop and support investment products, build client relationships, shape marketing strategies and connect investors with Capital Group’s solutions.

The Exploration Pathway is designed for individuals who want to explore different career options before choosing a long-term direction. Through the two-year Capital Group Rotational Program, associates complete three rotations, each lasting eight months, within a selected track, gaining exposure to different teams, projects and experiences while building broad business knowledge and transferable skills. The tracks include Business & Operations, Client & Product or Data & Technology.
The Specialist Pathway is designed for individuals who already know the field they want to pursue and are ready to develop deeper expertise from day one. Through programs such as CAP, EDGE (Education, Development, Growth, Excellence) and SLATE (Sales Learning Agility and Training Experience), associates build specialized skills, gain focused development and grow within a specific career area.
Yes. Summer associate opportunities are one of the primary ways students begin their careers at Capital Group. Many summer associates have the opportunity to return after graduation in a full-time role.
Depending on business needs, performance and individual interests, a summer associate experience may lead to an opportunity within the Exploration Pathway (Capital Group Rotational Program), a Specialist Pathway program such as CAP, EDGE or SLATE or a direct-placement role within a business team.
