Enhanced functionality: A streamlined user experience makes it easy to complete investments, exchanges and withdrawals, with additional tax withholding and overnight delivery options. We’ve also improved how you manage automatic transactions, making it easy to apply changes at the account level versus fund by fund.
Additional access: You will continue to have access to your clients’ accounts even if mail is returned or in the unfortunate event of their passing, allowing you to better assist the beneficiaries.
New educational resources: Account-specific information and reminders help you manage your clients’ accounts.
Yes, these emails are being updated with a new layout and (for security purposes) will no longer include client data. They will also now come from Capital Group Account Activity Updates at Capital_Group_Account_Activity_Updates@service.capitalgroup.com with a subject line that starts with “Your daily/weekly account activity notifications” (depending on the frequency you’ve selected). Visit Updates to account activity email notifications for more information and to preview a sample of the updated emails.

Once you’ve transitioned to the new Client Accounts, your Capital Ideas Pro user name and password will serve as your login credentials. If you use a password manager, be sure to update it with these credentials. Additionally, if you have the old Client Accounts link saved as a bookmark or favorite, you should update it to capitalgroup.com/advisor/accounts/dashboard.
* For your security and the security of your clients’ accounts, login credentials should not be shared with your assistant or anyone else. Assistants will need to link their Capital Ideas Pro credentials to their own Affiliate Vision ID. If your assistant links their Capital Ideas Pro credentials to your Vision ID, it will prevent you from linking the same Vision ID. If you have any questions about this process or need assistance, contact us.
No, there are no changes being made to how you will log in to other Capital Group websites. These changes are specific to the financial professional website. To simplify the login process, you won’t need to enter your Vision ID and password each time you log in to Client Accounts, as you’ll link your Vision ID and password to your Capital Ideas Pro login and set up 2-step verification.

If you’re unable to receive a passcode by text message, contact us for assistance.
If you have more than one Vision ID, you must link all of them to your Capital Ideas Pro login. Once logged in, open the Vision ID drop-down menu and select Manage Vision IDs to link additional IDs.
Additionally, if you have recently made changes to an existing ID, it can take 1 to 3 business days for the updates to be processed. Once your Vision ID is updated, accounts associated with the changes will be available in Client Accounts.
New accounts generally appear 1 to 2 business days after they are established. If an account doesn’t appear in Client Search after 2 days, try logging out of Client Accounts and logging back in. You can check for new account alerts on your personalized dashboard or enroll in account notifications here.
You’re likely accessing Client Accounts through a bookmark or favorite that points to the previous version, which is scheduled for retirement soon.

Yes. In addition to updating Client Accounts, we’re making similar changes to the investor website to enhance your clients’ digital experience with Capital Group. After financial professionals have transitioned to the updated experience, we will begin to transition investors in phases. We will notify you and your clients of the changes and will provide support throughout the transition. Resources will also be available to you, so you can assist with any inquiries they may have.
No. While enhancements are being made to the part of the website where your clients access their accounts, they can still reach us by phone, fax or mail.
Yes. Their updated online account experience will also provide them with new notifications regarding activity on their accounts. These notifications will be updated with a new layout and will be sent with a subject line that starts with “Account alert” from Capital Group Account Notifications at Capital_Group_Account_Notifications@service.capitalgroup.com.
Yes. If your clients are using any third-party applications, websites or services, their accounts will be disconnected until they transition to the new investor experience. Once they’ve created new login credentials, they’ll be able to reconnect their accounts.
