We recognize that your investment and technology needs continue to evolve, and Capital Group is committed to evolving with you. In the coming months, when you log in to the Client Accounts section of the website, you’ll access an improved design with intuitive navigation and enhanced functionality, making it easier to manage your clients’ accounts.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Easier sign-on: You won’t need to enter your Vision ID and password each time you log in, as you’ll link them to your Capital Ideas Pro™ login, providing a seamless login process with 2-step verification for increased security
  • Improved design and layout: Intuitive navigation will help you quickly locate your clients’ account balances and returns, and your personalized dashboard will make it easy to stay up-to-date on client activity
  • Enhanced functionality: A streamlined user experience will make it easy to complete investments, exchanges and withdrawals and to make updates to automatic transactions

We understand your need for more online features, so we’re enhancing Client Accounts to make it more secure and easier to manage your clients’ accounts online.

You’ll be prompted to link your Vision ID and password to your Capital Ideas Pro login, providing a seamless login process with 2-step verification for increased security. (Your Capital Ideas Pro login is the login that provides access to exclusive content for financial professionals, including applications, reports, events and more.)

Once you log in, you’ll notice an updated design. For details on additional updates, visit New features/benefits in Client Accounts updates FAQ.

Financial professionals and assistants will be directed to the updated Client Accounts in phases over in the coming months. For the latest information, revisit this page regularly.

There are a few steps you and your assistant should take now to ensure your access is uninterrupted and to prepare for the changes:

  1. Register on our website and create a Capital Ideas Pro user name and password, if you haven’t already. If you aren’t sure if you’re registered, contact us.
  • Assistants need to create their own login for a personalized experience*
  • Take note of your user name and password as you’ll be prompted to enter them when you transition to the updated Client Accounts. If you need to reset your password, reset it now.

2.    Ensure you know your Vision ID and password and are enrolled in 2-step verification on the DST Vision® website.

  • Assistants should not share your credentials and need to have an Affiliate Vision ID.* Affiliate Vision IDs have the same level of access as the financial professional, and if your assistant supports other financial professionals, they can link multiple Affiliate Vision IDs to their Capital Ideas Pro login to easily manage all clients in one place.
    • To create one for them, log in to DST Vision, hover over the Administrative drop-down menu and select Enroll Affiliate IDs. DST Vision will send a confirmation email within 1 to 3 business days.
  • If you need assistance with your Vision credentials, contact DST Vision Support at (800) 435-4112

* For your security and the security of your clients’ accounts, login credentials should not be shared with your assistant or anyone else. Assistants will need to link their Capital Ideas Pro credentials to their own Affiliate Vision ID. If your assistant links their Capital Ideas Pro credentials to your Vision ID, it will prevent you from linking the same Vision ID. If you have any questions about this process or need assistance, contact us.

Not completing these tasks in advance may cause delays when you and your assistant access Client Accounts.

Once you’re selected to transition, you’ll be automatically prompted to register for Capital Ideas Pro, if you haven’t yet done so. You’ll also be reminded that your assistant needs their own Capital Ideas Pro login and Affiliate Vision ID. Affiliate Vision IDs can take up to 3 business days to be confirmed by Vision. We encourage you to complete these tasks now to prepare for the change.
