We recognize that your investment and technology needs continue to evolve, and Capital Group is committed to evolving with you. When you’re directed to the new Client Accounts, you’ll access an improved design with intuitive navigation and enhanced functionality, making it easier to manage your clients’ accounts.

Once you’ve transitioned to the new Client Accounts, you’ll gain access to:

  • Easier sign-on: You won’t need to enter your Vision ID and password each time you log in, as you’ll link them to your Capital Ideas Pro™ login, providing a seamless login process with 2-step verification for increased security
  • Improved design and layout: Intuitive navigation helps you quickly locate your clients’ account balances and returns, and your personalized dashboard makes it easy to stay up-to-date on client activity
  • Enhanced functionality: A streamlined user experience makes it easy to complete investments, exchanges and withdrawals, with additional tax withholding and overnight delivery options. We’ve also improved how you manage automatic transactions, making it easy to apply changes at the account level versus fund by fund.

We’re enhancing Client Accounts to better support how you manage your clients’ accounts online by introducing new features, strengthening security and improving overall usability. These updates are intended to streamline key tasks and deliver a more seamless digital experience. For additional details on what’s changing, refer to New features/benefits in Client Accounts updates FAQ.

You’ll be prompted to link your Vision ID and password to your Capital Ideas Pro login, providing a seamless login process with 2-step verification for increased security. (Your Capital Ideas Pro login is what provides access to exclusive content for financial professionals, including applications, reports, events and more.)

Financial professionals and assistants are automatically being directed to the new Client Accounts in phases. To successfully transition to the new Client Accounts, you will need to:

  • Be registered on our website with a Capital Ideas Pro user name and password. If you aren’t already registered, register now.
     
    • Assistants need to create their own login for a personalized experience.* If they don’t have one, they should create it now.
       
  • Have your Vision ID and password handy as you’ll need them when you log in.

    • Assistants should not share your credentials and need an Affiliate Vision ID.* Affiliate Vision IDs have the same level of access as the financial professional, and if your assistant supports other financial professionals, they can link multiple Affiliate Vision IDs to their Capital Ideas Pro login to easily manage all clients in one place.

      • If they don’t have an Affiliate Vision ID, create one for them by logging in to DST Vision®, hovering over the Administrative drop-down menu and selecting Enroll Affiliate IDs. DST Vision will send a confirmation email within 1 to 3 business days.
         
    • If you need assistance with your Vision credentials, contact DST Vision Support at (800) 435-4112.

Once you’ve transitioned to the new Client Accounts, your Capital Ideas Pro user name and password will serve as your login credentials. If you use a password manager, be sure to update it with these credentials. Additionally, if you have the current Client Accounts link saved as a bookmark or favorite, you should update it to capitalgroup.com/advisor/accounts/dashboard.

* For your security and the security of your clients’ accounts, login credentials should not be shared with your assistant or anyone else. Assistants will need to link their Capital Ideas Pro credentials to their own Affiliate Vision ID. If your assistant links their Capital Ideas Pro credentials to your Vision ID, it will prevent you from linking the same Vision ID. If you have any questions about this process or need assistance, contact us.
