This has been a difficult year as inflation, interest rates and geopolitical tensions have weighed on the stock market. But while troubled periods are uncomfortable, they can also create long-run investment and wealth planning opportunities.


Investment Director Greg Singer and Portfolio Specialist and Portfolio Strategist Jan Inscho dove into the economic outlook, emerging investment themes and some wealth planning strategies being implemented at the account level.


Greg Singer is a senior vice president and investment director at Capital Group Private Client Services. In addition, he leads our Wealth Advisory Group and is a member of the Management Committee and the Portfolio Strategy Committee. Before joining Capital Group in 2012, he spent seven years at Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Prior to that, he held strategic planning and marketing roles at PepsiCo and was an analyst at Lehman Brothers. He has an MBA in finance from Northwestern University, along with bachelor’s degrees in finance and computer science from the University of Pennsylvania.
