Harry Gunji is an equity investment analyst at Capital Group with research responsibilities for chemical companies across Asia and Europe, as well as Japanese precision equipment, consumer electronics, appliances, construction and European medical technology. He was also a portfolio manager earlier in his career at Capital. He has 25 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for eight years. Prior to joining Capital, Harry was a senior equity analyst and a portfolio manager appointee at Fidelity Worldwide Investment. Prior to that, he was a global equities analyst at Turiya Advisors in Hong Kong and Viking Global Investors in New York. Harry also worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and UBS in New York and at Morgan Stanley in Tokyo. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Waseda University. Harry is based in Tokyo.
